I graduated from law school on 1998 and was able to pay almost 800 a month for couple of years, then I got a high risk pregnancy and was unable to work for 2 years due to therapy etc and then I went into a custody battle and domestic violence abuse that led up to loose my house, car and all valuables. Then the economic turnaround i am just starting to have a regular job. I have over 150 K (due to interests and penalties for being in forbearance program) in students debts and I am almost 40 years old, means that I will never may dream of traveling, having a home or do anything?????????…. I am desperate and don’t know what to do. being without a job for over 3 year creates a critical economic situation for a single mother of 3. I worked hard and tried everything, what can I expect not being able to buy food after being in law school, pass a bar exam and tried to do the right thing. It was better being out of school ????? Situations in life occur I didn’t ask to be a victim of domestic violence (and no it was not a person you can tell) neither I am responsible of having a high risk pregnancy or a later accident… What are my options I used to help everyone when I was doing good and now it seems so difficult… Please if anyone knows a way PLEASE HELP thanks
